Our commitment to the safety and well-being of guests and staff takes on added importance as we navigate the COVID-19 pandemic.

Through our Safety Promise program, we will ensure that everyone feels safe when visiting Golden Skybridge and we will continue to make a positive impact. When you decide to visit us, you can feel confident that you’ve made the right choice.

Enhanced Cleaning Program

  • We have introduced increased cleaning protocols with Health Canada-approved cleaners at all our shared spaces at the Golden Skybridge.
  • Cleaning of all these spaces will be frequent and thorough. We have a regular cleaning and sanitization schedule of all bridge handrails.
  • You’ll also find hand sanitizer stations throughout the entire experience.
  • Staff will wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
  • In staff spaces, we have improved and enhanced our cleaning protocols. We have implemented staggered lunch schedules and  have designated areas to promote social distancing.

Rigorous Staff Training

  • We know how important teamwork is to keep our staff, guests and communities safe. All of these distancing and cleaning measures need to be clearly communicated so they can be successfully implemented.
  • Our staff onboarding and training is more rigorous than ever. We are always evolving and improving .
  • Our on-site signage and pre-arrival communications aim to be clear and straight-forward. We aim to ensure both guests and staff support these measures.
  • We have new protocols for guest and staff illness reporting and management to help ensure healthy people stay that way.
  • We are committed to ongoing engagement and collaboration with our industry and governmental partners, ensuring we are aligned in protecting our guests, staff and communities.
  • Staff are screened on a daily basis before the beginning of their shift and take weekly rapid COVID-19 tests.

Crowd-Free Comfort

  • All guests must wear face masks that cover their mouth, nose and chin in all indoor spaces. This is applicable to guests with or without a medical exception.
  • In accordance with provincial guidelines, proof of vaccination is not currently required when visiting. However, guests who sit and eat in the Village at our picnic tables will need to show proof of vaccination. Learn more about vaccine cards
  • The ample outdoor area at Golden Skybridge allows our guest to enjoy the space mask-free while maintaining proper physical distancing with other guests.
  • In our lobby area and gift shop, we have reduced capacity to align with B.C. provincial health guidance.
  • We have reduced capacity of our dining pavilion.
  • To limit crowding at the ticket booths, we are strongly encouraging advanced online reservations.
  • Our signage will guide guests to keep 2 m apart in all line up areas.
  • In our public spaces, you'll see our team helping to ensure we all work together and that everyone flows through the spaces appropriately — with focus a on lineups, in the lobby, and when entering the two bridges.
  • The Golden Skybridge flow is one-way and occupancy is limited as per the B.C. provincial health guidance.
  • Our gift shop layout has been altered to allow proper physical distancing.

Cancellation Policy

We have implemented a special policy that allows you to cancel up to 2 days before your trip for a full refund during the 2021 summer season.*

*Cancellation Policy valid until October 11, 2021.

Our teams are diligently implementing these distancing and cleaning initiatives in collaboration with our local, provincial and federal organizations.

Here are some of the standards that we have drawn from to ensure our Safety Promise meets or exceeds health, industry and governmental recommendations and regulations. Since these best practices and regulations continue to evolve as new information is released, so too will our Safety Promise.
