Kananaskis Full-Day Backcountry Snowshoeing at Fortress Mountain

Indulge in some deep powder snowshoeing this winter in Kananaskis Country. Your trek departs from Banff, and leads you to Fortress Mountain, a snow-lover's paradise. This former ski resort closed in the 1990's and recently saw restoration of access roads and snow trails when it was reinstated as the only cat skiing operation in Kananaskis.

Your knowledgeable guide will take you through the unspoiled wilderness and serene backcountry with delightful stories along the way. At an elevation of 2,100 metres, you'll bask in breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and peaks.
