Exciting whitewater thrills on the Bow River! A half-day whitewater tour that offers adventure lovers rafting thrills and excitement close to Banff, Canmore and Calgary. The Horseshoe Canyon section offers spectacular scenery, big waves and up to Grade IV whitewater. Experience a sense of remoteness while you raft your way through shale canyons and awesome whitewater. Cliff jumping is also available for the adventure enthusiast!

Departure Times

*Transportation option departs Banff at 8:35 PM from the parking lot behind the Mount Royal Hotel
Transportation is available from Banff or Canmore for $10
For Rafting without transportation, guests are asked to meet at the Chinook Rafting base at the Nakoda Lakeside Lodge
Please remember to bring a swimsuit (or wear under your clothing for added convenience), towel, bag, and extra layers to warm up after the tour. Changing rooms will be available on site.
Not available to children under 12 years of age.
Guests must weigh a minimum weight of 40 kilograms (90 lbs).
All river fees are included in the price of your tour.
The Bow River is rated as Class I to IV whitewater.
