Have you booked your attractions tour time?
Tour times fill quickly. We strongly recommend reserving a time before you visit the attractions.
We strongly encourage the use of the free Banff Gondola Shuttle from downtown Banff (approximately every 30 minutes). Allow approximately 20 minutes to arrive at the Gondola from downtown Banff, (Keep in mind that this can increase during peak times). Make sure you leave enough time before your Banff Gondola tour time!

Banff Gondola FAQ's
The Banff Lake Cruise is now closed for winter and will reopen in Spring 2018. New for 2017: Roam Transit is now offering a free service to Lake Minnewanka. Parking is limited at Lake Minnewanka and guests are strongly encouraged to arrive by sightseeing tour or shuttle. Allow approximately 30 minutes to get to the lake. We recommend you aim to arrive 30 minutes prior to your cruise tour time.

The Maligne Lake Cruise is now closed for winter and will reopen in Spring 2018. Maligne Lake Cruise is 48 km from the Jasper townsite - allow yourself 1 hour and 20 minutes to drive from downtown Jasper. We recommend you arrive 30 minutes prior to your tour time. With an abundance of viewpoints and potential wildlife sightings en route, you may want to allow yourself extra time to reach the lake so you can enjoy the drive.
Directions to Maligne Lake
The Glacier Adventure and Skywalk are now closed for winter and will reopen in Spring 2018. The Glacier Adventure and Glacier Skywalk are located at the Columbia Icefield near the south entrance of Jasper National Park. The drive will take you approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes from downtown Banff and 1 hour and 30 minutes from Jasper. You'll want to plan to spend at least 3 hours to enjoy the entire experience. Be sure to arrive 30 minutes prior to your booked tour time. Parking for both attractions is at the Columbia Icefield Glacier Discovery Centre.

Check in time at Elk + Avenue is 4PM. We are located at 333 Banff Avenue. We offer complimentary heated underground parking on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Glacier View Inn is located at the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre, approximately 2h 30m drive from Banff and 1h 30m drive from Jasper. Parking for hotel guests is at a separate parking lot on the south side of the building. Note your name and guest confirmation with the parking attendant upon arrival. The front desk is located inside the Columbia Icefield Discovery Centre.
