Choose your own adventure this summer in beautiful Golden, British Columbia.
Nestled between six national parks and two mountain ranges, Golden Skybridge is home to thrilling attractions, stunning views and an experience for just about every kind of visitor.
Not sure which admission type to choose? This guide breaks down everything you need to know about your options — including recommended visit lengths and who each pass is best for.
Best for: Quick visits and sightseers
Visit Time: 1–2 hours
The Bridge Pass is Golden Skybridge's general admission option, but the experience is anything but ordinary. This pass provides access to Canada's two highest suspension bridges, spanning the canyon at heights of up to 130 metres (426 feet), and the scenic trail network that winds through the park. You'll also get access to The Village — an outdoor plaza featuring a food truck, picnic tables and a playground for little explorers.
Tip: Download the Golden Skybridge app to navigate the park with ease, available on Google Play or the Apple App Store.
Best for: Thrillseekers tight on time
Visit Time: 2–2.5 hours
The Zipline Pass includes everything in the Bridge Pass, plus a high-speed ride on the Sky Zipline. This 304-metre (1,000-foot) ride soars over the canyon, offering even more remarkable views of the surrounding alpine scenery. Up for a race? You can zip alongside three fellow riders to bring the excitement to even greater heights. Note that riders must be eight years old or older to ride alone, or six when accompanied by a guardian (age 16-plus).
Tip: Secure, enclosed shoes are required for the Sky Zipline.
Best for: Roller coaster aficionados and family adventurers
Visit Time: 2–3 hours
Carve and glide down the mountainside aboard the Railrider Mountain Coaster. Like the Zipline Pass, the Coaster Pass covers bridge, trail and plaza access, plus two rides on Golden Skybridge's mountain coaster. This one-kilometre adventure is appropriate for guests as young as three years old (children under nine must be accompanied by an adult), with riders choosing their own cart's speed using onboard brakes.
Tip: Like the Sky Zipline, closed-toe shoes are required for the Railrider Mountain Coaster.
Best for: Guests looking for the full experience
Visit Time: 3–4 hours
The Adventure Pass covers all of the above attractions — the bridges, zipline and coaster — plus three more signature experiences. You'll navigate the treetops at the Canyon Edge Challenge Course (featuring three elevated rope routes of varying difficulty), try your hand at axe throwing in The Village and scale a massive 8.5-metre (28-foot) climbing wall. Suffice to say, this is a day in the mountains you won't forget.
Tip: Budget a full day for your Adventure Pass experience — especially if you plan to tackle the Canyon Edge's toughest course.
Best for: Early birds and budget-minded travellers
Visit Time: 3–4 hours (must visit before 9 a.m.)
Some things are worth setting an alarm for — and a morning at Golden Skybridge is definitely one of them. With an Early Riser Adventure Pass, you'll save 20% and enjoy unlimited access to all five signature Adventure Pass attractions until 11 a.m. All you have to do is arrive before 9 a.m.
Add the Giant Canyon Swing to any pass type! But be warned — this adrenaline-spiking attraction isn't for the faint of heart. You'll sit suspended past the canyon's edge, strapped into a paraglider-style harness, before free-falling and swinging high above the trees and rushing river — more than 121 metres (400 feet) below.
Take a swing solo or tandem with a brave friend by your side.
Best for: Late-day sightseers
Visit Time: 1–2 hours
The mountains are particularly magical at sunset. Picture golden hues, cozy temperatures and fewer crowds. Sound like your vibe? Then pick up a Golden Hour Bridge Pass and save 20% by visiting within the last two hours of operation. You'll get access to the suspension bridges, trail network and plaza as the day winds to a spectacular close.
Tip: Golden Skybridge's hours change throughout the season — check the Hours & Location page to plan accordingly.
Best for: Music lovers
Visit Time: 2–3 hours
Soak in the alpenglow, enjoy an ice-cold drink and catch some of Canada's top talent during the Summer Concert Series. This plaza-only pass is your ticket to a music venue like no other, with live performances every Saturday evening from mid-June through August.
Tip: There's even more to explore every second Saturday in July and August, when the music lines up with the Golden Night Market.
Book your pass in advance and save on your visit. We'll see you at the Golden Skybridge this summer!
For a Bridge Pass you're welcome to visit at any time, even if you book tickets in advance. For an Adventure Pass and the Giant Canyon Swing you will need to book an arrival time, which can be done by booking your tickets in advance online here.
There is no age restriction for general admission, however, the minimum age to access the park without an adult (16 years or older) is 12 years.
Our two suspension bridges cross an expansive canyon with a towering waterfall — the first is 130 metres high and 150 metres long, while the second bridge is 80 metres high and 140 metres long.
