Explore winter’s natural majesty with Maligne Canyon Icewalks.
Our 4 kilometers walking tour takes you into the heart of the canyon to discover its frozen falls, frosted limestone and natural ice sculptures. We provide everything you need to safely navigate the canyon floor, from helmets, boots and cleats to in depth guidance from a trained tour leader.
Your Maligne Canyon icewalk experience also includes a smokehouse lunch at Maligne Canyon Wilderness Kitchen, complete with main course, side and non-alcoholic drink.
Tours depart twice a day, Wednesdays through Sundays, at 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. (noon). Lunch is served after the 9 a.m. tours and at 12 p.m. before the afternoon tours.

Uncover frozen falls, fossils and ice caves in Jasper’s deepest canyon. Our guided tours provide everything you need to explore the canyon floor, including boots, ice cleats and helmets. Icewalks consist of a 4 km hike and take roughly two-and-a-half hours start to finish.
