The View, Maligne Lake

As its name implies, The View, overlooking Jasper's world-famous Maligne Lake, offers show-stopping panoramas of the hallmark Canadian Rockies scene. Come for a stroll and lakefront snack or refuel post-cruise with afternoon refreshments. It's the ultimate outdoor seasonal restaurant in Jasper National Park.

Jasper Brewing Co.

Holding the prestigious title of Canada's first national park brewery, this locally owned pub is one of downtown Jasper's top spots for après-adventure pints. Jasper Brewing Co.'s vibrant street-front patio has outdoor heaters for cooler weather, and all tables include an epic view of Signal Mountain. Cold beer, Canadian Rockies scenery and gastropub fare create the ultimate patio party trifecta.

Terra

If you find yourself in need of a relaxed patio space, Terra is where you should be. Located on the edge of downtown Jasper, this spacious patio provides views of Signal and Tekarra mountains for you to enjoy while you dine. Like the seasons, the locally farmed and foraged fare is constantly changing to keep the menu fresh.

Tekarra Restaurant

Perched on a ridge overlooking the Athabasca River, Tekarra Restaurant's patio offers a magical faraway feel, with picturesque mountain views. The seasonal fine-dining favourite is renowned for its inventive cuisine, featuring fresh local ingredients. Dine at dusk, and an impromptu wildlife sighting might also be on the menu.

Maligne Canyon Wilderness Kitchen

A delicious culinary adventure awaits you at Maligne Canyon Wilderness Kitchen. Located a few minutes from downtown Jasper, the smokehouse-style eatery is best known for its locally sourced meats and succulent sides. Cozy up by the outdoor firepit and savour the slow-cooked Canadian Rockies flavours while listening to the rush of the river, cutting through the canyon below.

Jasper Pizza Place

Jasper Pizza Place is perfecting the art of hand-tossed traditional and wood-fired pizzas. The restaurant's robust menu also includes burgers, salads, steaks and pasta dishes. Reserve a seat on one of the pizzeria's two outdoor patios. If you're travelling with a well-behaved pup, opt for the pet-friendly front patio. If not, aim high and nab a table on Jasper's only rooftop patio. The newly renovated outdoor space has a fireplace, seven outdoor heaters and a separate bar and restrooms.

Aalto

Head to Aalto, in Pyramid Lake Lodge, for a welcoming lakeside weekend brunch or après-adventure supper. Indulge in menus deeply inspired by the surrounding wonders while gazing at the lake's scenic shores and dramatic Rocky Mountain backdrop. Sunset is an epic time to dine, as a soft rosy-gold glow washes over the restaurant's surrounding peaks. And, on clear nights, Jasper's dark sky drips in starlight, making Aalto the national park's most breathtaking year-round dining experience.
