Classic Breakfast

Downtown Jasper

Start your day in town with a hearty mountain breakfast at Chateau Jasper's Silverwater Grill & Lounge. The menu is extensive and will fuel you up for a day of adventuring.

With a View

If you'd like some quiet solitude with your morning coffee, head to Aalto at Pyramid Lake Lodge. From classic dishes to inventive creations, this is a place to relax, enjoy a great meal and watch the day begin.

Smokehouse Lunch

Maligne Canyon, 10–to-15 minute (10.7 km) drive from Jasper

Maligne Canyon Wilderness Kitchen is a must-try while in Jasper. The cozy hideaway, just outside of town, boasts a flavourful, smokehouse menu and the best of barbecue. Think brisket, pork ribs and a sharing platter piled with all the trimmings. Arrive early to explore the trail overlooking the deepest canyon in the Canadian Rockies. Be sure to visit the second bridge for epic views of the rushing water.

Locally Inspired Dinner

Downtown Jasper

The team at Terra makes its homegrown inspiration known in everything they do. From artisan cocktails to main dishes that spotlight regional ingredients, every visit to the restaurant located inside The Crimson is a distinctly Jasper experience. Stop in early for happy hour, offered daily from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m., to save on drinks and appetizers.

Nightcap Finale

Downtown Jasper

If you’re still feeling lively post-dinner, grab a nightcap at Jasper Brewing Co. The ever-popular brewpub right on Connaught Drive holds the distinction of being Canada’s first national park brewery. Go for a classic Crisp Pils, Jasper the Bear Ale or Trail Session IPA — best enjoyed on the patio on a mild summer evening. Or, opt for a glass of wine or house cocktail to close the day. Cheers to Jasper dining done right!
