Your safety is our priority

March 17, 2020

Since the unprecedented Covid-19 situation began, we have been steadfastly focused on the safety of our dedicated team and our valued guests. However, each day brings extraordinary new challenges that none of us could have predicted.

The time to take the next step has come. Today at 6 PM, the Banff Gondola will temporarily close operations. This includes the Sky Bistro and Northern Lights restaurants. We anticipate re-opening on May 15. Because the situation both here in Banff and around the world is rapidly evolving, this may change. Our team remains available to help you reschedule or confirm an upcoming booking, to provide updates on the situation here in Banff or to simply chat with you about the magic and beauty of Banff National Park. We love what we do.

We understand that you have questions. If you have a current booking for the Banff Gondola, please submit an inquiry so we can help you. We appreciate your patience as we work through the many adjustments that must be make.

This is uncharted territory for us, and frankly, it’s upsetting. But it’s clearly the right move.

Along with our community partners, we will continue to focus our efforts on the health and safety of our team and our guests. We appreciate your support and send strong wishes for health and well-being to all of you. Together, we will navigate this storm.
