We're happy to be able to continue welcoming guests safely to ride to the summit of Sulphur Mountain. And although some amenities are limited due to current Alberta Health Restrictions, we've lowered our ticket price. And these amazing views haven't changed a bit!   • Hours subject to change without notice. GST not included. Attraction tickets are refundable up to 48 hours in advance.
  • Pets are welcome and encouraged to explore all trails and outdoor areas of the Banff Gondola, however due to the safety and comfort of all our guests, pets are not permitted within the gondola cabins or summit building. Service animals are welcome in all areas of the Banff Gondola when accompanied by their owners.

Getting to the Banff Gondola

The Banff Gondola is located at the base of Sulphur Mountain at the end of Mountain Avenue in Banff, Alberta in the heart of the Canadian Rockies.

ROAM TRANSIT LOCAL ROUTE 1
The Banff Gondola is serviced year-round by Bow Valley ROAM Transit Services. Buses run regularly, with stops along Banff Avenue. Contact ROAM Transit for information at roamtransit.com.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Banff Ave, travel south to the end, turn left after the bridge onto Spray Ave. Stay right onto Mountain Ave and follow that to the end where you will find the Banff Gondola parking lot. Please note parking at the Banff Gondola is very limited.
