Getting to the Lake Minnewanka Cruise

The Lake Minnewanka Cruise is located at Lake Minnewanka, a 15 minute drive from the town site of Banff along the Minnewanka Loop Drive, in Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada.

PUBLIC TRANSIT TO LAKE MINNEWANKA

Lake Minnewanka is one of Banff’s most popular destinations and the parking lot fills quickly. For the best experience, we recommend taking the Bow Valley Roam Transit from the Banff townsite to the lake. The Lake Minnewanka Service (Route 6) runs seven days a week starting May 17 until September 15. The most central bus stop is the Banff High School Transit Hub. Contact Roam Transit for more information at 403.762.0606.
$2/ RIDE | $1/ AGES 6-18

Brewster Sightseeing Tours also provides tours from Banff to arrive at the lake just prior to some departures. They have pick-up service at most of the major hotels and motels in Banff. They will also bring you back to your hotel after your cruise.
