Our cancellation policy is more flexible than ever allowing you to cancel your trip up to 2 days before it begins.

Lake Minnewanka is an angler's playground. It's the only lake in Banff National Park where power boats are welcomed.

Come and try your luck fishing in one of our 16-foot aluminum motorboats available for rent. Or, if fishing isn't your game, you and your family can simply enjoy a leisurely hour or two exploring the lake. Our rental boats come complete with all the necessary safety equipment and gas.

Our rental boats are not bookable online. They are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis at the Lake Minnewanka docks.

Boathouse Hours

May 7 – June 4	10:30 AM – 4:30 PM
June 5 – June 30	9:30 AM – 5:30 PM
July 1 – September 6	8:30 AM – 6:30 PM
September 7 – September 26	9:30 AM – 4:30 PM
September 27 – October 11	10:30 AM – 4:30 PM
Rental Hours	Opens as the first tour departs. Closes as the last tour departs. All rentals boats need to be returned no later than 1 hour after the last tour departs.

Maximum 4-5 passengers per 16 foot aluminum boats with 8 and 9.9 hp outboard motors.
Rates are subject to GST and are quoted in Canadian funds. VISA, MasterCard, American Express accepted with reservations.
Half-day (4 hours) rental boats are only available on weekdays, Monday to Friday.
Operating season is weather dependent.
